Kalen Cooper negotiated their entry via a project to build an all wood, no nail, 500 million yen, Japanese style villa on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. The villa was part of the feasibility study to build a US$250M Japanese Ryokan style hotel - conference center in Wailea, Maui. Four Seasons was to manage the property.

New World Power Corporation

became one of the first successful distributed power companies in the USA. Hydro-Electric power, modular power, solar and wind power were distributed power markets in which New World Power became a market leader. Kalen Cooper represented the company in Hawaii and negotiated a power purchase agreement expansion with the Hawaiian Electric Company.
